Dr. Adhir Baran Chattopadhyay had have the highest qualification, Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from I.I.T, Kharagpur in 1999. He has teaching and research experiences of 34 years (including experience of 13 years in foreign country) and 28 years, respectively. In March,2021, he has been awarded (jointly) with an international award (Best paper award 2020 of Cogent Engineering Journal) by the publisher, Taylor and Francis.

Joining BBIT in March,2021 Dr. Chattopadhyay found ample scopes for setting up in this institute, a suitable platform for result-oriented research and development work.
