THE PRINCIPAL

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Budge Budge Institute of Technology (BBIT).

BBIT constantly endeavors to prepare its students to become not only successful professionals but also true global citizens having strong foundations in their respective disciplines. Our focus is to provide quality education to the students through a dedicated team of excellent faculty members who are educated, trained, and experienced in premier institutions and universities in the country and abroad.

We are glad to inform you that since its inception in 2009. BBIT, with the advice and guidelines outlined by a very cordial and compassionate Management,   has been continuously improving and has now a superb infrastructure spread over an area of about 20 acres having state of the art laboratories in all the running B.Tech disciplines of ECE, EE, CSE, ME and CE as well as in the MBA program. It is also worth mentioning BBIT has also been running Diploma programs in five disciplines like CE, CST, ETCE, ME, and EE. In the academic year 2018-19, CSE and EE will start M.Tech programs as well. It is a matter of pride to mention that BBIT has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)  and four existing B. Tech programs (ECE, CSE, EE, and ME) of the Institute. have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

BBIT encourages faculty members to engage in research activities and present their works in national and international seminars & conferences as well as publish their papers in different journals. The Institute also encourages students to take part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities beyond the specified academic curricula for their all-around development.

In a nutshell, BBIT is committed to creating an ambiance for nurturing discipline,   innovation, creativity, and excellence for becoming one of the premier engineering educational institutions in the country.
