Overview

The Department houses two well-equipped English Language Laboratories — Language Lab 1 (Room No. AC 503) and Language Lab 2 (Room No. AC 504) — designed to strengthen the Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW) skills of students through a technology-assisted learning environment. Both labs play a pivotal role in grooming students for campus interviews, personal interviews (PI), group discussions (GD), and real-life communication scenarios, thereby enhancing their overall communicative competence and employability skills. In addition to regular academic use, the Language Labs also serve as venues for faculty & student enrichment programs such as seminars, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), debate competitions, and extempore sessions, aimed at continuous professional growth. The Training and Placement Cell also utilizes these labs for conducting soft skills training and communication grooming sessions for students, ensuring their holistic development and readiness for professional challenges.
